My Aga Lifter arrived yesterday evening. My husband was here and he was like a child getting an early Christmas present. He opened it all up and all I could hear was, "well fair play to him he knows what he is doing" he actually thinks it is the best thing since sliced bread!

Some history.

For over 31 years (1984 to 2015) I serviced my own AGAs. Initially by standing on the top of it and manually lifting out the heavy cast iron barrel. It did my back no good at all. This had to change.
Aga barrels weigh over 7 stone (45Kg)

As an ex motor engineer, it wasn’t long before I designed a lifting tool, and then later, in a barn conversion that we did, the AGA lifter kit allowed me to service our second oil AGA, even in a tight alcove space.

As of Dec 2023 over 600 kits have been purchased, mostly in the UK plus Ireland, the Channel Isles, Isles of Scilly all over Western Europe, even one to Vermont in the U.S. Home owners and service engineers respond with great feedback.
