My Photography

Now retired, but as a general photographer I got asked to do all sorts of photography, some of my photographs are shown below. Others are on Google Photos, or flickr.
A brief history of how I became involved in photography is on my ‘About’ page.
Here is a small selection off some of my photos.

Our Boat was For sale.
Sold now, enjoy cruising in Eliza Jane Brian and Rebecca.

We owned her from early 2014-April 2016 and had 2 full seasons cruising some more of the inland waterways of the UK.
From as far apart as Bristol Docks to the head of the Llangollen Canal in North Wales.
Over 500 hours, probably as many locks, including the amazing Cain Hill lock flight on the Kennet and Avon Canal.
Some lengthy tunnels too, like the Harecastle tunnel near Kidsgrove on the Tent and Mersey Canal, only 3000 yards long!
Which takes about 40 minutes to navigate.
2016 will see us with a brand new boat, built by Stoke Boats. 60 feet long. due to be launched around the 20th May.

Some of the photographs as seen in our Chagford show tent.
Loads more stock photos available, go to my Photo Gallery  to browse.

Castle Drogo sits on top of the Teign Gorge, and from Furlong, where we used to live, it dominates the horizon. Jill was asked by the Okehampton Times to take photos of visitors enjoying the guided tours of the roof, which is not normally open to the public. However, quite a good covering of snow had fallen overnight which left the roof very slippery and a danger to visitors so we were alone (great) on the roof to enjoy the views. Following on from my home page, here are a few more pictures from the morning.

These are all thumbnails of the larger pictures, click each to enlarge the image in a new window.
Once there, some of the images will enlarge with further clicks.

Just three of the many photographs taken for a new website at Lydgate House B&B in Postbridge on Dartmoor.

OFF TO THE MEET  Limited edition.

This is the Mid-Devon Hunt coming up into Chagford from Factory Bridge.
Photo taken on B&W Film, processed and printed in my darkroom.
