Weddings…. 15 years of brides, grooms and first dances!
Working with my wonderful wife Jill, we were professional wedding photographers.
Taking photographs of over 120 weddings in beautiful Churches and Civil ceremonies where we lived on Dartmoor, and further afield as far North as Clevedon in Somerset and South as far as Burgh Island off the South Coast of Devon .
Now retired, but as a general photographers we were asked to do all sorts of photography.
Jill was official photographer at Chagford Show for many years and judged the photo competition entries at the show.
She also took food review photos for “Dartmoor the Country Magazine” Okehampton Times, publicity photos for Hotels, B&Bs Guesthouses even pet photos. I was always there as back-up or technical adviser, especially at food reviews when we got to eat the goodies.

Canal Narrowboats.
Jill and I have had several Narrowboat holidays from as early on as 1975. It was always our aim to own a boat and have the leasure time to enjoy the Canal network.
Our first private boat was Naiad in 2005, then Eliza Jane in 2004 and most recently Chrissie in 2016.

The Hunt Meeting at Chagford on Dartmoor
Every Boxing Day the Mid Devon Hunt meet in Chagford on Dartmoor before setting off for a ride over the moor. Not to everybodies cup of tea these days but it’s a long standing tradition in Chagford, and brings hundreds of people to the village square every year. The pubs and local businesses appreciate the colourful, friendly gathering.
