2026 is the 13th Anniversary of making my unique AGA Barrel Easy Lifting Kit.
STOP trying to lift the 45Kg Barrel by hand, you’re likely to damage your back, or your lovely AGA.
It’s far too heavy to lift safely without my unique Barrel lifting kit.
AGA Service Engineers, or self servicing, this kit will last a lifetime of work.

Everything produced locally and assembled in my small workshop, all in my retirement.

My Aga Lifter arrived yesterday evening. My husband was here and he was like a child getting an early Christmas present. He opened it all up and all I could hear was, "well fair play to him he knows what he is doing" he actually thinks it is the best thing since sliced bread!

Hi Rob My husband used the AGA lifting kit as soon as it arrived. He was very impressed buy the quality of the manufacture and the extensive and easy to follow instructions. After a few small and quick adjustments the drum was out and he could change the wicks put everything back and was soon working perfectly again. As the Aga and my husband are not getting any younger I was relieved that you have made it safer and less stressful for me and my husband who likes to do everything himself. I would highly recommend this kit for anyone who likes to work on their Aga themselves.

Lifter arrived today in good order and, as I’m sure your other customers tell you, impeccably packed. It’s a nice touch that the packaging is obviously designed as a storage box and that the instructions include how to pack the box. I had seen an earlier iteration of your lifter and considered making one myself. However, having seen your current video and, even more so, having received the lifter, I’m very pleased with it. It looks very well made and that a lot of refinement has gone into it.

Some history.

For over 31 years (1984 to 2015) I serviced my own AGAs. Initially by standing on the top of it and manually lifting out the heavy cast iron barrel. It did my back no good at all. This had to change.
Aga barrels weigh over 7 stone (45Kg)

As a professional Motor Engineer and Rally Car builder it wasn’t long before I designed a lifting tool, and then later, in a barn conversion that we did, the AGA lifter kit allowed me to service our second oil AGA, even in a tight alcove space.

As of 1st January 2025 over 658 kits have been purchased, mostly in the UK plus Ireland, Channel Isles, Isles of Scilly all over Western Europe, even one to Vermont in the U.S. Home owners and service engineers respond with great feedback.
