The shortest cruise ever?

Due to Covid-19 and the first lockdown in March, then all the restrictions we haven’t managed to cruise at all this year.
Before the second lockdown started on 5th Nov we spent 2 nights aboard Chrissie in Aston Marina where she’d been since late March, to prepare her for this winter all alone.
Despite being untouched since March she was in good order and the engine started on the first turn.
Topping up with diesel meant leaving the berth to get to the fuel station under the bridge in Aston Marina, and as a one-way system operates we had to go out onto the T&M Canal and back into the marina the other end.
It’s important to keep the fuel tank full to reduce condensation forming in the tank and contaminating the fuel which can lead to the dreadded “Diesel Bug” when the fuel turns to sludge.
Jill took these lovely photos of our “cruise”.
